At Zehn Psychiatry, our adult ADHD assessment pathway is designed to build a clear and considered understanding of each person’s experiences, including developmental history, current concerns and how symptoms may be affecting everyday life.
The process begins with an initial ASRS screening questionnaire. Where the screening score is above the relevant threshold, a full assessment may be offered. Before the clinical assessment, further information is gathered using the Conners’ Adult ADHD Rating Scales (CAARS), completed by the individual and an observer who has known them from childhood.
Once the assessment is complete, the outcome is explained clearly, along with any relevant recommendations or treatment options.
